Summary of Central Camera Company Selling Policy

Warranty
All new equipment is complete with USA warranties. New equipment is warranted by the respective manufacturer not by Central Camera Company. Service center location information is included with all major equipment or available from us upon request.
Used equipment is guaranteed to be in the condition described; otherwise item(s) can be returned within fourteen (14) days for a full refund or, when possible, repair or replacement. The option to repair, replace, or refund purchase price is at the discretion of Central Camera Company. Warranty does not include the cost of rentals, lost fees or other expenditures associated with items being returned. Warranty is void in the event of customer damage, misuse, or harm that results from circumstances outside of Central Camera Company’s control.

Availability
Central Camera Company maintains a large inventory of all types of photographic equipment and supplies. This website is a description of the broad range of products and services that we provide. Many items that are available for purchase through Central Camera Company may not always be carried in stock. We strive to work closely both with our customers and our suppliers to provide those products that are not on our stock shelves in as quick a fashion as we can. We invite you to call us or send an email with your product question. We have a lot of experience supplying generations of customers with just the right piece in just the right time.

Payment, USA customers
Major credit cards are accepted for purchases in store and for mail order purchases within the USA only:
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
All purchases will be billed in US Dollars. Please note that shipping address must be registered with your card-issuing bank.
Central Camera reserves the right to refuse credit card payment if we are unable to verify credit card information.

Taxes/Fees
All in-store sales are subject to Illinois State, Cook County, and City of Chicago sales taxes – currently 9.25% of purchase total.
Mail orders to Illinois residents must add 9.25% sales tax.

Returns for item(s) without any material defects or for refund are subject to a restocking fee. Sales of less than $100.00 are subject to a $7.50 restocking fee. While sales of $100.01 and above, carry a 15% restocking fee. Returns of digital cameras and other products containing software are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Shipping: in USA
Central Camera Company offers FREE FedEx Ground shipping when orders are over $100.00 and under five pounds, shipped anywhere in the continental (48 states) USA. On all other orders the minimum shipping charge is $8.95. Shipments heavier than 5 lbs. when boxed will be billed by the weight and volume calculation provided by the carrier. You will be notified of this charge before the transaction is finalized. Estimated delivery time for domestic shipments via FedEx Ground is 2-4 business days. Domestic orders received before 3 PM (CST) usually ship same day. Expedited shipping is available upon request, but the buyer is responsible for additional costs. Buyer is responsible for providing Central Camera Company a full shipping address and any special delivery instructions at time of payment.

Payment & Shipping: International Purchases
Buyer must prepay. Payment methods accepted:
– Paypal
– International/Domestic Money Order/Cashier’s Check
– Wire or Electronic Bank Transfer
All purchases will be billed in US Dollars. A $25.00 service fee, imposed by the bank, will be added to orders being paid for by wire or electronic bank transfer. Prices quoted on either merchandise or shipping do not include any customs charges, import duties, or value added taxes (VAT) that your local government may charge.

We have found that the US Post Office offers the most economic rates for international delivery. Delivery time for overseas orders can take 1-4 weeks to arrive. Merchandise will be shipped within three (3) working days of payment receipt and verification. Shipping by other couriers is available upon request. Buyer is responsible for any additional costs. Central Camera is not responsible for any duties, tariffs, customs, or other taxes, etc., imposed on items shipped to or from a foreign country. Buyer is responsible for providing Central Camera Company a full shipping address and any special delivery instructions at time of payment.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
All returns/exchanges must be made within 14 days of receipt. Returns/exchanges must be accompanied by a sales receipt and include all original packaging. Returned new items must include original box (with UPC codes intact), instructions, and unfilled warranty cards. Shipped return items will not be accepted without prior contact; pre-authorization can be obtained by calling your salesperson or email sales@centralcamera.com

Restocking fee: A restocking fee will apply to returns/exchanges as follows:
Returns/exchanges of sales up to $100.00 are subject to a $7.50 restocking fee.
Returns/exchanges of sales from $100.01 and up are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Returns of Digital Cameras and other products containing software will be subject to a 15% restock fee, regardless of sale price.
Refunds on returns exclude shipping charges. Please inspect any packages on arrival and notify the carrier of any damages. All packaging should be retained until the package has been examined by the carrier.

We provide you with a free coupon to use, which discounts the original rate when paying at the lot.
There is a 2-hour discount rate, and an all-day discount rate.
Please specify how long you will be parked when requesting a coupon.
